- Connexus, Inc., based in Dallas, Texas is a VideoConference Services
company offering Public Room Access, MCU Management, Equipment,
Consulting, Scheduling Services and Training. Connexus has been
in business since 1989 and is exclusively engaged in providing
VideoConferencing Services.

About Executive Video Network
- Connexus created Executive Video Network (EVN) in 1990. EVN is an International Public VideoConference Room Network equipped with Standards (H.320 & H.323) compliant Codecs offering services and technology to facilitate productive long-distance meetings.

- EVN is an association of businesses, hospitals, schools and colleges
co-marketing their VideoConference sites with Connexus in order
to promote the availability of international VideoConferencing.

Lead Time for Setting Up a VideoConference
- A Video-Conference can be set up within minutes to a certified
site, subject to the rooms being available. But Connexus recommends
as much advance notice as possible to give time for testing to
new sites and to increase the probability of all resources being
available.

Hours of Business
- The rooms are available during normal business hours five days
a week and at all other times subject to special advance arrangement
and additional pricing.

VideoConferencing With More Than Two Sites
- Connexus can book and coordinate Multi-Point events. Bridge Services
are available for proprietary or H.320 Standards VideoConferences.
Continuous Presence and T-120 VideoConferences are also available.

- Connexus will co-ordinate all details and pre-test with private
sites.

Availability Of Peripheral Devices
- - Document Camera.
- VCR, playback and record.
- Telephone Audio Add-In.
- Scan Converter.

sites.

- Room Capacity

- Room capacity varies. Most rooms can hold up to 15 people, but
not all at the table. Some sites can support over 100 participants.
Larger rooms will incur a higher charge. Please ask for details
on specific sites.

- Minimum Billable Time For a VideoConference

- The minimum billable time is one hour, with fifteen minute increments
thereafter.

- Bandwidth
-
- Bandwidth is one of the main determinants of VideoConference quality.
The more bandwidth the better the quality. The minimum bandwidth
provided is 112/128 Kbps. (equivalent to 2 telephone lines). Most
EVN sites have the capability of providing up to 336/384 Kbps.
(equivalent to 6 telephone lines) and some can provide up to full
T-1. Please ask for details on specific sites.

- Interoperability Between Different Brands of Equipment

- Connexus successfully uses H.320 Standards to communicate between
VTEL, PictureTel, CLI, GPT, Mitsubishi and other types of Codecs,
including desktop systems.

- Telephone (Audio) Add-In

- In most rooms you may include a telephone dial-in participant
to your VideoConference at no additional charge.

- Training

- Interactive training sessions are available at any site, originating
from the Connexus Training Center in Dallas. These sessions will
address your specific application and the best means to communicate
over long-distance. Please call for further details.

- Certification Procedures

- Private sites that have not connected with EVN before must be
successfully tested prior to the scheduled VideoConference. Connexus
will coordinate all test activities to simulate the actual event.
There is no charge for Certification.
